England

Today we went on a bike tour all around London. We saw Buckingham Palace, Changing Of The Guards, The London Eye, “Big Ben”, The Parliament Building, The Graffiti Tunnel and more.

The bike tour took about 2-3 hours and I think we did more looking and stopping then actually biking. They have a special road for the bikes just like the real road with lines and traffic lights and different lanes to turn, it was really cool.

My Favourite part of the tour was The Changing Of The Guards because they were really loud and they looked funny in their big hats. Before the Changing started police officers went round on their bikes and yelled at people that went across the road and the officers were really mean.

Once the tour was finished we went to a Thai Restaurant and then we went back to our hotel. We said goodbye to Glenn because he was going back to Germany. Then we went to the M&M’s store and looked around for a bit. There was M&M’s galore!

We went to a French Restaurant for dinner I got a coke with roasted pork, and Caramel Crème for dessert. It was delicious 😋. After we went back to the M&M store and bought 2 massive containers of salted Caramel M&M’s!

Germany 3

Today we met Magdalene’s sister Catrina and we went up a gondola to a mountain. Once we were up there we went up to a Tower and the view was amazing we could see other mountains and the City Of Freiburg. As we were heading down we stopped by a seat and ate our lunch. Once we got to the gondola station we bought a donut and went on swinging chairs to eat them.

Later we went to the city centre to shop the only thing we bought was Turkish delights and a Starbucks mug. We also went into a chocolate shop and we got to try some samples of white nutty raspberry chocolate.

After we went to Magdalene’s grandmas flat. There we had her delicious Black Forest cake and cookies. Next we went to an aquatic centre all the pools where hot! Even the outside ones they were boiling the only decent temperature one was the one we weren’t allowed in but we went in anyways.

Later for dinner we had sausages and they were yummy 😋

Today we went to Switzerland and walked around a little town called Lücerne for a bit then went to go see a statue of a dying Lion. After we walked around a little more and found a shop where they sold Swiss Army Knifes and down the street a little more was a pandora shop. I got a pandora charm of Switzerland.

Next we walked down a lake and dipped our feet in the water and White Swans were swimming close to us. Then we walked across an old bridge and went to another Cathedral but this one had a similar look to the Versailles Palace.

Once we finished looking around we walked to a beach, when we got there Luke wanted to dip his feet in the water but his legs were too short so Dad and Magdalene lowered his feet down into the water and then they just left him hanging and Luke was screaming thinking they were going to drop him,But they didn’t. Later I found a little area where you could dip your feet into the water and watch the Swans and Ducks. Just as we were about to leave two Swans came up to us and Luke stuck his hand out and the Swan bit him!

Then we went across the lake again and over to an Ice Cream Shop but down the road a little there was Starbucks and we had to choose one or the other and I chose ice cream while the others chose Starbucks. I had a caramel flavoured ice cream.

Finally we started heading back to the car but first we had to find a shop that sold Swiss Army Knifes and we found one. Luke got a red knife with his name engraved into it.

Later we got back to the car and we drove to a mountain and once we got up there the view was amazing but since it was getting late we had to keep an eye out for tics. We started heading back to Germany and on our way back we had to look out for a nice restaurant and we found one Lasser Beir it was called.

When we were going back to the car we were walking past a house and they were putting their blinds down and it was super loud and mum had no idea what it was and it gave her such a fright she screamed and ran about 5 meters! She said she thought it was a machine gun.

Germany

Today we landed in Günterstal and are staying at my Au-pairs uncles place. We went to a massive cathedral and we went up to the top. We went up to where some bells were and the bells started ringing without any warning.

Once we came down we went and looked around a market. As we wandered around we found a ice cream shop, I got Salted Carmel ice cream.

After we went to a massive park and we climbed trees but I didn’t go up to high because I was scared the branch was going to break. Later we went back home and we had pizza for dinner and while the pizza was in the oven we played soccer with a massive bouncy ball.

Singapore 3

Today we went to Sentosa Island in cable cars. When we got onto the Island we walked along a beach and got some coconut stuff and that was horrible so we started to head back.

We went on another cable car that took us to a water park but it took us while to find it. When we got to the water park we went to dolphin Island but when we saw the prices to swim with them we turned around and left because dad said “ Were not spending $100 each to swim with dolphins.” So we went on the lazy river instead.

After a couple of rounds mum and I went on a massive water slide, Luke wasn’t allowed on because he was to short. The line to get onto the slide was horribly long but once we got up there we had to get weighed and get a stamp on our hand.

Next we went into a wave pool and when the waves came on you would be pushed around and it was very hard getting to the shallow end. Then we went back into the lazy river for one last time before hopping out.

When we were ready to get out we went to a gift shop to buy a towel but they were $30! So we waited till we were dry. When we were changed we went to Tino’s Pizza for lunch. I had a  Margherita pizza and a Pink Guava.

Later on in the evening we got our taxi to Raffles, as we walked in, there were peanut shells all over the ground and peanut sack all up the staircase. At our table there was a bag of peanuts and dad said we could eat the peanuts then drop the shells on the floor. Raffles is the only place in Singapore that your allowed to litter.

When we ordered we all order Singapore Slings but Luke and I got the kids version of the sling. The sling was super good it also came with cherries and a piece of pineapple.

Finally we went to Harry’s for dinner I got another  Margherita pizza and Ginger ale for dinner the pizza was massive and I couldn’t eat it all.
